make a wish, now!

My hubby's favorite Sunday thing is to spend hours in bed reading his New York Times, which is as thick as a book! I always borrow the travel, arts and style sections, and a few weeks ago I saw a lovely photo taken in Maine of a house in the countryside at night, lights glowing from its windows, and a sky full of stars. I wanted to paint it, in my style!

As I was painting the night sky, the song from "The Greatest Showman" popped into my mind - when he is a little boy and sings "a million dreams are keeping me awake". So what do you need to make your dreams come true? A shooting star of course, so that you can make a wish! Can you believe that I've never seen a shooting star, ever?

That's why as the last step made an animation, where you see a shooting star in the sky. So even if, like me, you have never seen a shooting star, now you can make a wish too!

Something a bit old, but the ideas are still new
