San Diego Map

This will be a project that runs until 2020!

We are here in the US only for a few years, so this is our way to familiarize ourselves with our temporary home.

This painting may seem simple, but it took me a week! The first version of this painting was colored in, but then I thought that simple is best, so I painted it again. It also took me a while of studying Google Maps and satellite images to understand the geography and the landscape of San Diego.

Wherever we go in the coming years, we will stick a pin into the map with a little label to keep a record. Hopefully in two years, you will see a zillion pins in this map!

Something a bit old, but the ideas are still new
