Space Exploration A

This painting started with a simple idea: there were some colours in my set of acrylic gouache colours that I had never touched.

They included some pretty wild hues, like neon pink, orange and aqua green.

So I gave myself the challenge to use them!

I tried out a bunch of different colour combinations and I decided to paint an alien landscape.

I’m calling this painting “Space Exploration” because it is about exploring and alien landscape, and also for me it means I am exploring a new space as an artist.

Something a bit old, but the ideas are still new
