Show your true colors

This painting was inspired by some amazing deep-sea photographs I saw on Instagram. The idea was very simple this time: all I wanted to do was to paint the sea slugs I found, and paint them as they were. Isn't this so cool? I didn't need to think about how to create the shape, or what color combinations would be a fit for each of them, they are already beautiful enough, just by being themselves. I hope this sea slug drawing can inspire people. No matter what kind of slug you are – sea slugs, space slugs, whatever – being your true self is the most fabulous thing you could ever do.
