Doctor With a Broken Arm

Last year, my friend Indre and I were doing a little portrait painting workshop in her apartment. She painted me, and I painted her. Or at least I tried. I can’t really do a painting in 2 hours. The result was pretty ugly and embarrassing. I didn’t want to give it to her.

I still owed Indre a portrait.

You know that my paintings always need a story, a little twist. When I thought about making another attempt, I thought of the time when Indre had broken her arm.

She loves horseback riding, and she has many years of experience. But even experienced people can have accidents.

So, here is Indre, with a broken arm, sitting at home on the couch, a little bit miserable.

The horse clearly feels bad about the incident.
